Technology Platforms
Technique development is almost always at the forefront of scientific advance and a state-of-the-art biomedical research institute requires a broad range of diverse cutting-edge technologies. At the FMI we established central technology platforms that are maintained by dedicated, well-trained staff. Our platform scientists stay abreast of the latest developments in the field and work closely with group scientists to enhance the impact of FMI research in epigenetics, quantitative biology and neurobiology.
In addition to the platforms highlighted here, we also have an animal facility for dedicated care of our mice and zebrafish, and a transgenic mice facility.
